Façade Funhouse – One of the Best Instagram Photoshoot Spots in Orange County
Back in October, my husband and I decided to get in the Halloween spirit and check out a local Instagram-worthy art installation called the “Façade Funhouse.” Located in Costa Mesa, California, this pop-up photo booth experience is every Instagrammer’s dream! With over 7 unique spaces, the photo ops are nearly endless and we had such a fun time playing with all the colorful props. I would definitely consider this location a gem and one of the best Instagram photoshoot spots in Orange County, as Los Angles tends to have more artistic scenery and unique street art. You’re probably wondering why I’m dressed in so much pink?! Aside from the fact that I love wearing funky outfits in the most bizarre places, Escape from Wonderland was coincidentally this day, so I thought why not make it a photoshoot day? I went with a rave Barbie type of theme, so it’s safe to say I got some confused looks, but it was all worth it the end for these fun photos!

Feeling like Barbie and Ken on this little motorcycle!
The first space that caught our attention was the rainbow floral wall featuring fun little props like a disco ball and heart-shaped pillow!

Perhaps my favorite bell bottoms of all time from Dollskill.
Next up was the pink room, complete with a striped sofa that is perfect for lounging and an adorable pink vintage phone.

I can’t get enough of these platforms from YRU! I wear them with so many different outfits.

Obsessed with these palm tree pink sunglasses from Rebl Kitty.
Continuing through the installation, we eventually entered the confetti room. If you are a Boomerang fanatic, this is probably the best spot to take one!
Right after the confetti area comes the graffiti spot, displaying a wall you can literally write anything on! Other props include a funky couch, a TV, and a little rubber duck.

Faux fur jacket is from J Valentine.
One of my favorite spaces is up next, the cloud installation. The blue brick walls are so picturesque and little fluffy clouds hang from the ceiling.

If it’s fluffy or furry, I probably own it.
Our final stop was a giant tub filled with money! Photos of Rhianna frame the main wall and this is another great Boomerang opp. Just rake up the dollar bills and make it rain if you wish!

I had already made it rain by this point…
It’s safe to say Façade Funhouse gets a 5 star review! There were a few other little spots that I didn’t mention, but you will have to see the rest for yourself! I have never been to the Museum of Ice Cream, 29 Rooms, or Happy Place, but I love that Façade Fun House is a smaller scale version of these places.
